I just wanted to compliment you on your approach to fitness.

Sensible, sane and built for the long haul.

I have been a personal trainer for a little over 19 years, and I can't tell you how much I enjoy working with clients with your attitude. They are usually the short-term clients as they come to me mainly for program design and a few pointers. Then, they are off on their own and actually doing what they said they were going to do.

If you are interested, I would be interested in an exchange of blogroll links.

My blog is pretty new, but it's growing day by day.

Hello!

I'm writing with a unique story opportunity that I think has incredible synergy with everything you stand for...

I am the Social Media contact for The Baddish PR Group here in New York. I'm spreading the news about this online promotion we're running to win a Grass-Fed Cow! We're giving away packaged beef for the best ad slogans that are submitted.

To participate in the promotion, please visit http://www.winagrassfedcow.com

We thought this type of beef and what the company stands for are extremely synergistic with your blog (green, no hormones, no pesticides, no antibiotics, higher, leaner source of protein, healthier food choice, etc). This promotion would be a fun, interactive way for your readers to participate in being more "green." We'd love for you to consider posting about this promotion.

More information about the beef below.

La Cense Grass Fed Beef, www.lacensebeef.com., Healthy, Juicy, and Flavorful!

La Cense cattle are raised in a healthy, more humane way, free from pesticides and antibiotics and are left to graze in open pastures on a huge Montana farm. And, because they are grass-fed, they are a lot healthier. As you know, we live in a country that is concerned with weight and as such, La Cense beef has fewer calories (for example, a 6 oz. steak has 100 fewer calories) and is high in omega 3 fatty acids, which enhances heart health and reduces the risk of obesity. LA CENSE IS IDEAL for foodies who are concerned about the planet but don't want to
give up flavor.

We were just written up at http://green4u.wordpress.com and www.luxist.com. Our write up on Luxist includes a video of a tasting, definitely worth watching! http://www.luxist.com/2008/04/28/tasting-the-la-cense-beef/

Please feel free to contact me if you have ANY questions!
I hope to hear from you soon!

Best,
Andrew DiPalma

Interesting where it all comes from. I am in Canada for some month now and can say that North America really have a different approach to food than we Europeans. I am from Germany and have often been to Italy. All I can say that I have a hard time to keep my healthy eating habits here ;-) Just putting more salad on my burger doesn't do the Job.

Here is one from my grandmother. Maybe it helps: In the Morning you eat like a King, at noon like a Lord and in the evening like beggar.

I agree with Jen. I am surprised at what I now don't eat and don't miss - sugar on my breakfast and sugar in my coffee. I think those two things alone have helped me lose 5kgs. Plus the running and swimming but I never realised how much processed sugar I consumed! :O
I'm in a similar though later situation. Mid forties, overweight, two grown kids and, well a shelf where my abs should be! :( Here's to eating better and moving more! :)
