@Mark: A nice fried Spam sandwich: The whitest bread you can get, basic mustard, and fried spam. Mmmmmm. Of course, it may kill you in the end. But OH, the sodium.
@Hanlie: Please do – it was fun to think about. I had to look up several things because I’d never heard of them, which I suppose is part of the point –
@FBG and @ZenFitChick: On the Vodka – I KNOW! Talk about a match made in heaven……

Four years of living in Saipan and I had Spam-fried rice way too many times to count. I really couldn’t eat horse because of my love for the animals.
I haven’t heard of lot of these things. Spam? Is that the stuff in the can? My husband was living on the stuff before we got married. That is like eating dog food! LOL Have you ever tasted that. He did. hahaha!
Christines last blog post..Flowers Of Summer
@Andrea: Hi! I am in the same boat on Spam fried rice. It’s kind of required eating. And I must admit, I do kinda’ like it…..Spam is not exactly a “seasonal” choice in any way, shape, or form, but whatever they put in it (probably MSG) it sure does hook ya if you have the inclination. Thus why I have to avoid it religiously. . .
@Christine: Yep, I don’t know these days, but the best thing about a spam can when I was a kid is it came with a “key” to crank the lid back. . .But I think the jelly that surrounded the spam (and I use “jelly” loosely) freaked out just about anyone who opened the can up. . .
